Greetings to all my sisters in Christ,
My name is Pang Vang (Nkx. Ntsum Thaiv Vaaj). It is an honor and a privilege to serve as Assistant Director of HKN (Alliance Women Ministry) of the Hmong District. I am looking forward to be working with the HKN team to serve the local churches' AW ministries.
I have been married for 26 years with four children; two daughters (Angel-24 and Isabella-8) and two sons (Austin-22 and Isaac-3). I am blessed with one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.
As far as ministry, I had served with AWM, Youth, Young Couples and many other positions at First United Hmong Alliance Church in Westminster, CO for many years. I had completed TEE Level 1 in 2007. Through the studying of God's Word, it had transformed my life dramatically and my heart grew to love God more and more. It was clear to me at that point that God was NOT only calling me to serve in the church but He had called me to surrender my life to Him completely. Since then, I have been faithfully serving God wherever He has called me to serve. And this year, it's a blessing to be serving with HKN.
I graduated from Regis University in Denver, CO with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2013. In 2014, God called my husband and I to relocate to Merced, California and serve the Alliance Church of Merced (ACOM). We have been at ACOM for a little over 5 years now. Since we have arrived at ACOM, I have been working alongside my husband in serving the church and encouraging the AW women and all the young ladies in the church in many capacities.
I enjoy meeting new people, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the beauty of God's creation. My favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” May God lead HKN and all the AW of the local churches to "Advance Christ Worldwide" through Loving God, each other, and others, living into the next generation, leaving into the World, and lifting the past and planning for the future.
In His Faithfulness,
Pang Vang (N.KX. Ntsum Thaiv Vaaj)
