Greetings sisters. My name is Pa-Chia Yang Lor.
I was born and raised in Pennsylvania.
At the age of 12, I gave my life to Christ and believed in Him as my Lord and Savior. Three years later, at the age of 15, I was baptized at my home church, Leola Hmong Alliance Church. I was an active youth member. In addition, I served as a Sunday School teacher with the children’s ministry and a Single Adult leader.
I attended Messiah College with received my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.
A few years after graduating college, I was introduced to my husband, Jerry Lor, by my aunt. Within a year of meeting one another and after much prayer, we decided to get married. I moved down to Georgia where I served as a nursery coordinator and a young couple small group leader alongside my husband at Hmong New Hope Alliance Church.
A year and half later, my husband and I accepted a full-time ministry position in California. Currently, we are serving Central Pacific Coast Hmong Alliance Church in Lompoc, CA.
In my free time I enjoy reading and doing arts and crafts.
One of my favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:6-7: “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
